  2. WED is a full-featured text editor with advanced features including:
  3. Auto-indenting;  Undelete; multiple file editing with split screens;  on-line
  4. help; and the ability to compile a program without exiting the editor.

  6. Using WED is easy:  Just enter "WED" to get to the WED main menu.  If you
  7. need help, type Alt-H.  Text editing commands are entered by holding down
  8. the Alt key a pressing the command key.  For instance, type Alt-C for the
  9. Copy command.

  11. WED Version 4.10 contains the following files:

  13. READ.ME         This file
  14. WED.EXE         The editor
  15. WED.CFG         The WED configuration file
  16. WED.HLP         The help text for the online help function
  17. WEDUSER.DOC     The Users manual for the WED editor
  18. APPENDC.DOC     Appendix C of the WED Users manual (contains special graphics
  19.                 characters)
  20. ORDERFRM.DOC    Order form for ordering WED.

  22. If you have a color monitor, select Setup from the main menu, and then set
  23. the "Monitor type" flag to "color".
